Recorded during Mori’s relocation to Berlin in 2024, this album marks a shift toward reconfiguring the bedroom-pop genre. Drawing from influences of cloud rap and alternative guitar music, BB Void unfolds as a shadowy counterpart to pop — raw, muddy, yet emotionally rich and direct. Leeching off the quintessential ideas of pop, such as its approach to lyricism, track composition and the frequent genre-message of portraying an ideal, perfect, care-free world, Mori takes these ideas, completely inverting and twisting them, creating a paranoiac doppelganger. Often doing so through dictaphone-like vocal processing, heavily distorted guitar chords and overdriven beats.

Rejecting Fragility’ - is a recorder of emotions and experiences collected during a year of immigration to Tbilisi, a move that was initiated as a reactive decision to the unconformity towards the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine. It is about the loss of ambition and acceptance of responsibility, as well as the rejection of habitual beliefs and acceptance of fragility.
Delving into new surroundings, the mixtape acts as a postcard that envisions the technogenic bustle of Tbilisi. Similar to ‘Fashion Music for Scammers’, the release takes shape of a diary entry and attempts to record the constantly fluctuating moment of emotional fragility, where the atmosphere within the magical and serene corners of the city’s surroundings switches up rapidly with its concrete coldness, and the deep wormhole that is its nightlife. Hence the DIY, almost field-like approach to the recording of the material featured on the album. Most of the track were produced on an iPad, in which qwa created unique, autonomous ecosystems.

50matches is the musical project of multidisciplinary artist Oleg Shkryabin - founder of artist-run space Redis and Golden Horns label, who lives and works in Paris. Following the self-released single Guardian Angel and a feature on Mori Mori’s BB Void EP, 50matches debuts with E Activities on Xpone.
E Activities is a three-track variation piece produced by 50matches during unrelenting transition and dislocation. Finding himself in constant motion through unfamiliar environments, the EP serves as a self- contained sonic refuge, a calm space set amidst the turbulence of displacement.

Mori Mori is the project of Latvian born musician and artist Glebs Pridbailo. Across four years of creative practice, Mori’s work has undergone a significant evolution, marked by a consistent focus on lyricism and vocal processing that ties his projects together. From the lo-fi ambient texture experimentation of his debut project Aurora (Neoplasm, 2021) to the dystopian anthems of Birds & I (Xquisite Releases, 2023), Mori has continually redefined his approach to pop music.

qwqwqwqwa is an artistic outlet of producer and DJ Grigorii Gribov. In his live shows, he explores bassy, glitchy, micro-percussive soundscapes, navigating between UK bass, ambient breaks, illbient, and downtempo, with a touch of early 2000s IDM. He has previously released albums on Grid and Neoplasm and contributed music to compilations by Comic Sans, 29 Speedway, and others—all while frequently appearing as a DJ and selector on various radio platforms such as NTS, Rinse France, Kiosk Radio, and Mutant Radio.

The eponymous radio show on radio.syg.ma was aired monthly throughout 2023. The core principles of the platform revolve around sonic exploration, which directly translated into the mix series, involving like-minded artists working in the field of sound and art across the globe.
The series featured shows from Mori Mori, mu tate, qwqwqwqwa, outsidenightair, Discka, Office Slave, Mike Midnight, Xulio Nada, MMK, Slowfoam, santebela and Mark Dartau.

As part of the “on sight: bring back home” project, Xpone presented a series of online live broadcasts, alongside u.care, radiosygma & Radio Fantasia. All the funds that were raised in July were sent towards Save Ukraine, the only public organisation in Ukraine that regularly organises and successfully conducts rescue missions to return Ukrainian children abducted by Russian authorities.
“on sight: bring back home” aims to highlight one of the many consequences of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine: the illegal forced displacement of Ukrainian children by Russian authorities. The goal is to raise money for a Ukrainian organization, Save Ukraine. One of their main projects, “Save Abducted Children,” focuses on finding, identifying, and returning Ukrainian children who were taken by Russia from occupied territories.
