Dream X shows up as the most mature Mori's 3project, which can be seen in many aspects of its composition: uncoventianal approach to song structure (always starting a composition from a different point of developement, overall fluidity of the form and yet complete cohesivness of the album in whole; its overall fluidity can even be seen in sophisticated harmonic development in songs like Silk and Echo World. Similar to World of Echo by Arthur Russell, Dream X's textural phaset has a very distinctive psychodelic nature, rich and electrified, patterns are heavily processed with delay, making them undecipherable.
Lyrically, Mini-album developes similar idea of psychoelic fluidity of a dream, describing quite abstract sujets, while constantly coming out of this state, doubting what just saw.
Dream X is accompanied by an abstract video-art piece, created by the artist and showed during a live performances. It starts from bursting pink image of sleeping Mori, camera is slowly sliding through his body. Then, the dream-like imagery shows highly processed abstract videos of different sacralised objects, like scull necklase, metronome and pearls, steeped in thick pulsating color, constantly changing it's characteristics in a very slow, hazy motion, Mori's practice with saturated color on screen is constant, starting from his A/V performance BB Void in 2024.
